Hidden behind a thin veneer of irony through its title and the concept that surrounds it, there’s some seriously good synth-y, minimal ambient going on here. I didn’t know what to expect going in, but this pleasantly surprised me by the end. Simultaneously in that area of sound between aquatic and space-y, ominous in a way that isn’t exactly scary, yet it keeps you on edge. It works really well as ambience in the traditional sense. Turn it on in the background and enhance any activity.
