nobody, not even you - the title threads a nice needle through the meaning of these tracks but ultimately I think it's just a title sequel to the EP I put out in 2019, 'you on the bed, me on the sink' as Russolo Collective.

That EP and this have more in common than I'd originally planned. I started making songs for this late last year with the goal of simply progressing my sound, pushing myself to make more polished and complete pieces. One day I was going through every demo I had on file and came across 'How I'm Feeling' which was one of the very first songs I made with a beat in, it dates before 'you in the bed, me in the sink' was even an idea in my head. Yet, I thought it fit really nicely around the music I was making now.

I'd like to avoid the idea of this being an "Isolation" project made in lockdown etc etc. But truthfully the cover art (drawn by me) says it all. I've spent a lot of time sitting uncomfortably for the past year with so much creativity growing out of me but I could never get over that hump. But this project is me getting over the hump and really diving into new sounds as well as trying to perfect old sounds.
